Automatic transmissions such as the pictured Allison Transmission are lubricated and protected with TEXTRANS HD

Texas Refinery Corp.'s TEXTRANS HD  is a superior quality transmission fluid made with excellent quality base oils. Careful blending with a group of high performance additives ensures TEXTRANS HD provides an extra margin of safety and protection for various types of automatic transmissions.
Enriched With Superior Additives

This product incorporates an exotic mixture of superior quality additives to combat oxidation, wear, foam, leakage, rust, corrosion, and cold weather. Special friction modifiers have been chosen to provide durability so the quality of the shift will be as smooth and as pleasing to the driver after many miles on the fluid as the shift was when the fluid was brand new. In fact, one of the new tests passed by TEXTRANS HD tests for anti-shutter performance. Friction modifiers used in this formula are more up-to-date;  therefore, the frictional variation that was allowed before does not occur. A new test for Sprag clutch wear, which TEXTRANS HD meets and exceeds, ensures greater clutch protection.

Fights Oxidation

This product was developed to fight oxidation that quickly kills many transmission fluids. Superior anti-oxidation chemistry is used to retard sludge at elevated temperatures. TEXTRANS HD provides the optimum viscosity grade of fluid to use in a wide range of duty cycles. This product does not contribute to varnish or sludge on critical components found in transmissions such as governors, oil screen, valves or valve bodies. This means TEXTRANS HD provides the desired shift characteristics because this fluid doesn't break down like many of the products on the market today.

Contains Outstanding Base Oils

The base oils used in  TEXTRANS HD have gone through special refining steps to make the oil oxidation resistant and thermally stable. The special refining processes remove undesirable characteristics from the fluid. This will prevent sludge, gum and varnish under heated conditions. The oils have been processed to have an improved response to the superior quality additives used by Texas Refinery Corp. The combination of the base oil's resistance to oxidation and the beefed up additive package often allows extended drain intervals to be realized.

For Various Transmissions and Other Applications

Meets or exceeds requirements for C-4 Fluids for Allison Transmissions. It also meets or exceeds requirements for DEXRON® III H and MERCON® fluids. It offers fluid durability, which enhances the performance and longevity of the transmissions. Strict quality control assures every shipment of this product offers the best in fluid performance.

Offers An Extremely Low Pour Point
Has an extremely low pour point of -60° F. Which makes this product a good choice for cold weather. Some industrial customers have even chosen the product for year round use in hydraulic systems because it can handle temperature extremes of heat and cold very well. As a matter of fact, TEXTRANS HD would be recommended for Sperry Vickers M-2950-S and I-286-S Hydraulic specifications. The product will also meet and exceed the Dennison HF-0, HF-1, and HF-2 Specs as well as the Sauer-Danfoss (Sundstrand) Hydraulic Pump requirements.
